    Mini-Leagues
    Explained

A private World Cup bracket league for your team. Free, fast to set up, and the best team-bonding hack of the summer.

    What Is a Mini-League?

A Private Bracket Pool for Your Crew

A mini-league is a private group inside the World Cup Bracket Challenge. Same picks, same scoring as the global game — but with a leaderboard just for the people you invite. Run one for your team, your family, your office, or your group chat.

    How It Works

    Three Steps. Two Minutes.

    01

    Create Your League

Head to the bracket page and click "Create a Mini-League." Name it after your team (e.g. "Revs U14 Boys"), and you'll get a unique join code and shareable link.

    02

    Invite Your Players

Drop the link in your team's group chat, email it to parents, or post it in your team channel. Anyone with the code can join — no account required to participate.

    03

    Track Your Private Leaderboard

Your league has its own leaderboard, completely separate from the global one. Watch the standings shift in real time as the tournament unfolds.

    For Coaches

Why Run One With Your Team

    Team Bonding Off the Field

Give your roster something to talk about between training sessions. Friendly trash talk builds chemistry — and World Cup picks are the perfect excuse.

Takes Two Minutes to Set Up

Create the league, share the code, done. No spreadsheets, no manual scoring, no chasing parents for picks. The platform does the work.

    Private & Safe

Only people with your league code can see the standings. No public exposure of player names — display names are up to each player.

    Completely Free

No entry fees, no premium tier, no catch. Coaches and players alike play for pride and bragging rights.

    Built-In Conversation Starter

Use it as a weekly check-in. "Who picked Argentina to go out in the group stage?" becomes a five-minute icebreaker before practice.

    Parents & Siblings Welcome

Open it up to the whole team family. Parents, older siblings, even grandparents can join the league and root alongside the kids.

    FAQ

    Common Questions

Do players need an account to join a league?

No. Players can submit a bracket as a guest using just their name and email, then enter the league code to join your private standings. Creating an account is optional but lets them edit picks before lock.

Can parents and siblings join the league too?

Absolutely. Anyone you share the code with can join — there's no limit on league size. It's a great way to get the whole team family involved.

    When do brackets lock?

All group-stage picks lock at the first kickoff of the World Cup. After that, no one can edit picks for the group stage or knockouts — it's purely score-watching from there.

What if a player misses the deadline?

They can still enter the second-chance knockout-only bracket once the Round of 16 begins. They won't catch the leaders, but they can still play along.

Can I see what my players picked?

Each player has their own bracket view link. You can see everyone's score on the league leaderboard, but individual picks are private to each player unless they choose to share their bracket link.

    How is scoring handled?

Automatically. Results sync in from official sources as matches finish, and every bracket is re-scored within minutes. No manual work for you.

    Rally Your Team

Two minutes to set up. A whole month of trash talk, team bonding, and bragging rights. Your players will thank you.
